OCCMundial is the leading job platform in Mexico. For over 26 years, it has helped candidates find employment and improve their lives. It is part of the Seek Group, one of the world's largest employment and education groups with a presence in 19 countries.
The OCCMundial platform is divided into two features: one for candidates seeking employment and the other for companies posting job ads and managing applications. For recruiters, it is crucial to have a simple, practical, and efficient experience that helps them find the ideal candidate.
We wanted to increase the conversion rate of companies posting a job ad for the first time. We believed that by improving the communication of our solution, we could eliminate barriers and minimize the effort required to acquire the right product according to our users' needs.
To better understand the situation, several tasks were performed:
Based on the findings, we incorporate better design patterns, using persuasion techniques and storytelling to encourage users to complete their first purchase while minimizing friction and cognitive load.
It was important for the flow to meet our users' Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) so that we could prioritize the functionalities to incorporate.
We designed a more focused flow with a simpler and more conversational format.

We conducted extensive user testing to identify any weaknesses in the flow and interface. Through iterative changes and retesting, we arrived at the optimal solution.
The efforts paid off, as we be able to increase conversion by 4.40x. We minimized the effort with a focused and conversational flow, resulting in a friendlier experience. Additionally, the lead time was dramatically reduced.
